Change Is in the Air: A New Season, A New Vibe
If you’re a frequent flyer around here, you may have noticed the vibe has changed a little since your last visit.
I decided it was time to freshen things up for the summer. Try some new topics. Explore some different ideas. Maybe even surprise myself a little along the way.
Don’t worry, I will probably revisit some of the most popular posts from the archives at some point. But for now, I’m leaning into the idea of shaking things up.
Writer’s Block Is Real
Sometimes we exhaust a topic. Sometimes we’ve analyzed a situation from every possible angle. Sometimes we can simply feel that a chapter has run its course and it’s time for a shift.
Lately, I’ve been feeling called to broaden the scope of my writing. While psychology, self-reflection, and personal growth will always have a home here, I want to give myself permission to explore other interests as well. And to share all things mystical and magical have become increasingly important parts of how I make sense of the world.
This blog has always been a reflection of whatever I’m curious about, learning, questioning, or experiencing in real time. So rather than staying confined to one topic, I’d like to let it evolve alongside me. Some days that may look like a deep dive into human behavior and healing. Other days it might be stories from my travels, a philosophical rabbit hole, thoughts on current events, or a tarot card that seems to capture the energy of the moment.
At its core, this space will remain what it has always been: a collection of observations about life, meaning, and the human experience. The topics may expand, but the intention remains the same; to explore, reflect, and hopefully leave you with something interesting to think about long after you’ve finished reading.
It’s Not You, It’s Me
And while we’re on the subject, if anything I write feels so familiar that you start wondering whether it’s about you specifically, I can assure you: it’s not.
Human beings share far more experiences than we realize. Heartbreak. Grief. Hope. Loneliness. Falling in love. Outgrowing friendships. Feeling lost. Starting over. Wondering if we’re making the right choices. These are universal themes that connect us all, regardless of who we are or where we come from.
If something I write strikes a nerve, consider that an invitation. Not to assume the story is about you, but to get curious about why it resonated in the first place. What did it bring up? What memory did it touch? What feeling is asking to be acknowledged?
Sometimes the things that trigger us aren’t signs to look outward. They’re invitations to look inward.
Either way, I’m glad you’re here.
Thanks for vibing with me,
— LC ✨
