I’ve Got a Little Secret for You
You can’t convince someone to value what they’re not ready to receive.
You could quite literally be someone’s answered prayer. A genuine blessing in their life. You can embody the exact traits they once begged the universe for; kindness, patience, depth, consistency…
The attraction can feel undeniable, and the chemistry completely off the charts.
And still… not be received. As if none of it matters.
Instead of seeing you as an angel, they respond to you as though you’re the devil.
Because connection isn’t just about what you offer. It’s about what the other person has the capacity to recognize.
When someone is operating from a lower frequency (ego, avoidance, defensiveness, chaos…) they don’t experience love as something safe. They experience it as something unfamiliar. Sometimes even threatening. So instead of leaning in, they resist it. Question it. Undervalue it.
Not because you aren’t enough.
But because it doesn’t match where they are.
Which doesn’t make them a bad person. They just might not be your person, and that’s okay.
Alignment is honestly less about finding “the right person” and more about meeting someone at the same level of emotional availability, self-awareness, and readiness. Frequency matters. Not in a mystical, abstract way; but in the very real sense of how two nervous systems, two minds, two hearts respond to each other.
The truth is, you don’t need to make yourself less radiant or lower your vibration to be understood, valued, or loved.
You just need to be met where you are.
And when you are, it won’t feel confusing. It won’t feel like convincing. It will feel like recognition.
Like something in both of you quietly saying,
“Ah… there you are.”
